Workshop details for late Autumn 2021
Workshop on Urdhva Dhanurasana, 12th November, 9.30 am-12.30
Everyone can give it a try. We do practice yoga in the Exmouth Yoga Studio very much as a spiritual discipline, that does not mean that the intensity of the physical side is dropped. No pushing for achievement is done, but we need to reach into the body and open it up to progress spiritually. Whether the main posture is happening for you at the end of the workshop or is irrelevant. We work to open the body, free the energies, still the mind and hope for insight to occur.
Mudras II workshop, 11th December, 9.30am-12.30
This is a continuation of the Mudras I workshop and can be attended by people who have not joined Mudra I workshop. Handouts and a recording of Mudra I is available and we start he workshop with a revision. Mudras as described in the Hatha Yoga texts are practices that rise kundalini. We started the practice with some mudras, analysed the texts and experienced the energetic effect. Mudra II will move on the maha veda, kechari, shakticalana and viparitakarani.
Venue is the Exmouth Yoga Studio and you can book a real space or a zoom space for a workshop at £25 each. I hope you can join me!
Booking is now available for a limited number of in-person and virtual spaces for these workshops and will be open until they are filled.
